    Deborah J Curtis(Debbie) graduated from West Virginia University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.(BSN) She currently holds a compact nursing license and is able to practice in 25 states. She became a Certified Fitter of both Mastectomy and Orthotics in 1987 and is licensed both with ABCOP and BOC. In 1999, Debbie started the post-mastectomy division for BayCare Homecare and has three locations called A Place for Her in the Tampa Bay Area. Debbie is the current Treasurer of the ABCOP Board of Directors which she was voted a member in 2018. She is a member of the executive, finance, continuing education, and pre-cert committees with ABCOP. She has worked on the committees for the Mastectomy exams for many years. She is currently serving on the Amoena Retail Advisory Board. Debbie grew up in southern WV but has lived in the Tampa Bay area since 1990. She is both a mother and a grandmother who enjoys spending time with her family.

    Cheri Raimonde is a physical therapist with a clinical doctorate in physical therapy from Northern Arizona University. She is employed by Northern Arizona Healthcare EntireCare Rehab and Sports Medicine Experts department. Her clinic is located in beautiful Sedona, Arizona. As a physical therapist Cheri treats a variety of diagnosis with specialization in lymphedema. She became a certified lymphedema therapist through the Norton School in 2015 and then became LANA certifed in 2020. Cheri has experience treating various lymphatic disorders however was fortunate to team up with a world renowned breast surgeon and build a lymphedema treatment and prevention program for NAH's Breast Center which became an NAPBC accredited center. She has been invited to speak 5 years in a row for the Healing Consciousness Foundation on "Lymphedema in Breast Cancer Patients", was a guest speaker in Las Vegas at Power Symposium in 2020 and in April of 2023, presented in Boston to the American Society of Breast Surgeons "Lymphedema in Breast Cancer Patients" as part of a forum on setting up a survivorship program that fullfills NAPBC standards. Cheri has lived in Sedona for 23 years with her husband Ron, son Zane and golden doodle Boomer.

    My name is Johanna (Yopi) Havlik, Certified Fitter, mastectomy, and I work at Fig Leaf Boutique in Indianapolis, IN. We are located in the Community Health Network MD Anderson Cancer Center. I have been fitting compression for 10 years. I have attended the Academy of Lymphatic Studies lymphedema management seminar, Klose Training Breast Cancer Rehabilitation course as well as classes sponsored by Juzo, Medi and Lymphedema Education & Research Network. I am a breast cancer survivor and have left upper extremity lymphedema since 2002. Finding the right fit for a patient is very personal to me. We work very closely with physical therapists and physicians to ensure proper garments for our patients.

    Kim joined the Juzo family as the Medical Education Liaison for Canada in 2020. Since 2005, Kim has ben helping patients with Lymphedema through the administration of Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) and Combined Decongestive Therapy (CDT). Kim established her own practice working closely with her community and other healthcare professionals focusing on Lymphedema care. It was here she realized that there was an opportunity to help influence and educate her patients and peers on the identification and treatment options for patients suffering from Lymphedema. Her expertise combined with her passion for promoting the benefits of compression garments established her as a leader in her field. She has published many articles, facilitated seminars for both patients and clinicians and continues to be an active spokesperson and champion for Lymphedema awareness.

The field of O&P inherently includes devices that could easily be equipped with monitoring features, allowing referring physicians, physical therapists and other members of the treatment team to remotely monitor patients for physical activity and other indications of health/wellness. In this talk we will provide practical tips for integrating wearable monitoring technology, including an example system developed specifically for use with orthoses and prostheses.

    Dennis Clark, CPO is founder and president of OPOS1, a low-cost, low-profile, easy to use wearable sensor which provides objective data for orthotic and prosthetic patients to measure clinical outcomes and improve quality of care. He is also the founder of Clark & Associates and O&P1. Dennis began his career as a staff technician in his father’s business, Dale Clark Prosthetics, and over the span of his 45+ years in the industry has served as lead prosthetist at Walter Reed Army Medical Center/Prosthetics Department, on the board of directors for the American Academy of Orthotists & Prosthetists (AAOP), as president of AAOP-Region 7, and as president of The American Board for Certification for Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC), and as a member of the External Collaborative Panel for the Limb Loss Preservation Registry.

    Angela Presley, PhD leads the Commercialization Services team at Simbex, a medical device and consumer health product design and development firm in Lebanon, NH. Her role entails providing guidance and strategic consulting to MedTech innovators who are in the process of bringing their product to market. She specializes in assessing the product viability from the perspective of care pathway, clinical workflow, and reimbursement considerations. Her background includes a dcotorate in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Buffalo with a research emphasis on the impact of orthoses on the biomechanics of gait, posture, and balance. She holds certifications as a Pedorthist, Orthotic Fitter (BOC) and Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM). She serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Board of Certification/Accreditation International. Her past career includes clinical experience in a variety of settings including sports medicine, orthopedics, and orthotics and prosthetics. She specialized in treating patients with chronic lower extremity conditions using custom fabricated and prefabricated orthoses.
