Misalignment between clinical and business leadership is one of the most common—and costly—issues in O&P practices. This session bridges the gap by highlighting critical knowledge gaps on both sides. Clinicians will gain insight into compliance, payer policy, and financial risk, while owners and administrators will better understand clinical realities that affect documentation and coding. Attendees will learn how shared understanding improves decision-making, reduces friction, and strengthens compliance. The session emphasizes collaboration over blame and provides practical ways to align clinical care with operational and regulatory expectations.
Learning Objectives:
- Describe key operational, financial, and compliance concepts that impact both clinical and business decision-making in O&P practices.
- Identify common communication and knowledge gaps between clinical and administrative leadership teams.
- Implement practical strategies to improve collaboration, accountability, and alignment between patient care and business operations.
